KIDstuf is held in the Family Life Center!

FRIENDS DON’T LET FRIENDS GO TO A BORING CHURCH… and grown up worship can be BORING for kids! We’ve decided at FUMC that we don’t want to settle with kids just drawing and eating candy during worship; instead, we’ve created a special worship service wired just for kids and their parents!

KIDstuf is our family worship environment at First United Methodist Church of Maumelle. It’s where kids take their parents to learn! Because we believe that what happens at home is far more important than what happens during their one hour at church on Sunday morning, we think it’s our responsibility to entertain, educate, and empower parents to put their faith into action with their kids at home each week!

KIDstuf is geared toward elementary age students and it’s our opportunity to put the parents in the kids’ shoes. This worship environment is where families learn about character and faith together. It’s a fast, noisy, zany, multimedia, kid-focused, parent-centered, virtue-driven 45 minute extravaganza that creatively combines music, drama, and storytelling to teach God’s Word in a relevant way! This is our opportunity to partner with parents to help us, help their kids grow in wisdom, faith, and friendship.
